"I don't think we're in econ anymore...."

What econ class?

We aren't doing econ anymore. Now it is Personal Finance. It is still basically the same in some ways though.
Same classroom, same people, still fun.

This week we opened bank accounts in Weserville and have been dealing with money and checks.
Of course we do not work at our actual jobs from Weserville and make different amounts of money.
Minimum wage now.....

I'm one of the lucky people who after paying the electricity bill got to pay $70 to get my car fixed!!!
And then we all got our Wifi bills...

Of course minimum wage wasn't helping so I owe 3 people money.

And about that bank account..... Balance: $0.08

  1. I understand completely. Personal Finance is a lot different than I expected. I have to pay bills and loan people money. But look on the bright side, after you pay me $22.00 back, you will only owe 2 people money.

  2. I'm sorry you had so much bad luck so soon in your Personal Finance adventure. Now you know what to expect in the real world, though! Here's to a bright future and paychecks on Monday!

  3. I'm sorry you have no money Dominic. On the bright side, we are also learning about deposits so you will be getting money again from your paycheck even if it isn't much. With that paycheck you should pay of debts so they don't accumulate. This is also a good experience because we are really getting an understanding of how the cost of our life style really looks. Now we know a minimum wage job is not going to cut it in real life.
