THIS WEEK IN ECON

We learned more about different kinds of competition, monopolies, oligopolies, monopolistic competition, and perfect competitions. And of course playing Zapitalism..... I can't stop...... playing...... must....get....building......permit.....and repay....loans.....  Haha I'm not very good yet.

We also started this new game buying and selling virtual stocks. Even our parents were invited to play. We will all be in competition with each other trying to get the most money after 30 days.
It's going to be very interesting and fun. Choose your stocks wisely.

Sorry its late and its been a long week... I have no clue what else to write. Well gnight everybody. I'm done.

P.S. Anybody wanting to play a group game of Zapitalism just tell me/make a group and invite me.
P.P.S. GO SEE THE DRAMA SHOW INTO THE WOODS NEXT WEEK.

  1. Zapitalism is so addicting!!! I've played it every single day!!! It has taught me alot about competition and I am learning more and more about how to control a company. The virtual stocks is very interesting; however, it is also very difficult to gain money. Stocks change constantly and it can be very confusing, especially when your computer won't let you access the site.

  4. That's ok Dominic, I'm really bad at the games too. I agree that it is fun to see the dynamic that goes on in the stock market. It prepares us for a real life scenario that we might face some day in the future. I also just like the competition..

(Sorry for the bad pun. I couldn't help myself.) Congratulations for holding the first place spot in the stock market game for a few glorious hours!
